Ill keep this short. I have a 90 tsi and i bought it with this problem. The problem was the head and tail lights wont shut off. The previous owner wired in a switch to the tail light relay under the hood so it can be shut off so the battery doesnt die. That mod worked for a while but now the tail fuse keeps blowing. If i put a fuse in it the relay clicks like 10 times and then blows the fuse. i cant drive the car at night and its real annoying. Has anybody seen this before? If anybody knows anything please let me know. thanks

I believe there was another topic similar to this just recently. Someone was having trouble with their lights not shutting off after they installed an aftermarket cd player. I'll see if I can find the thread.

No. No, no, no, no, n o. Never buy a used car from Oklahoma.

Check on eBay for a new headlight switch, and FIX the damned thing.

I guess Earl didn't know he could just unplug the battery every time he parked.
