I'm having a hell of a time getting by car to idle right. its just rought as hell. thing is it does ok with the MAS unplugged but goes all to hell with it plugged in. the previous owner hacked the thing but hey i got the car cheap. the ECU doesn't throw a code for the MAS or any of its components but the Barometric meter reading will not move for 1.00 and 1.01 Hg. this doesn't seem normal but i don't know what the average setting would be. this seems wrong and i think the MAS is going in the trash but i want to verify the BPS reading is correct or not. thanks for any help, been looking through all these threads for any reading on this from a datalogger and have found none.

ok well i found why the car ran like crap. this may help someone with a new car, like myself. The reason it wouldn't idle is that someone hacked the lower MAS. i was getting crazy air through the bottom chamber. car idles fine now that i covered the lower chanber to see if this would cure my problem. now i have to make a flapper or something similar as car falls flat if i give it a lot of gas. boost still builds fast and peggs out but i get no power at all. feels like i'm just coasting. if i can't get a flapper thing for the bottom chanber i think i'll just get a new MAS.
