Hey everyone....i have a 91 eclipse turbo and i just put in a motor from a 92 talon and i believe i hooked everything up correct, i have spark and fuel and timing is perfect but when it cranks it dosnet sound like it even wants to start....what could be the problem? thanks for the help everyone....i just need it on the road ive been carless since november :(

check the crank angel sensor. Make sure that it is aligned correctly with the motor and not 180 degrees off.

To align it correctly put the motor at TDC and then on the CAS on the front side(side that is in the head) there are two tick marks that are to be aligned. You should see them they are fairly easy to see.

I can not remmember if 92 & 91 CAS(crank angle sensors) are the same. I know that the changed to hall effect sensors in 93.
