Extended Waranty My As*!!!!

Hey this is really funny, I was driving and I was noticing some taping noise when accelarating , after about a week the noise was getting louder and louder , until one night after coming back from work my car just stoped at a red light , I had to pump the gas pedal like sh*t so that my car would barelly idle and stop again , I pulled over at a gas station and there was this loud taping, the engine was shacking like crazy , and there was noise like some metal scraping , sort of life small marbles moving around , I was so freaked out , I just got the car a couple months ago. I drive home ( just a couple hundred feet from the gas station ) I go to sleep , wondering what the f*ck the problem is , Then I remember that I bought a warrantee with my car 12 months , 20,000 km so I call that company , They gave me the number for a tow truck to come pick me , then send this small a** tow truck ( u know the ones that look like a pick up with a sling shot on it ) I tell them I need a flatbed because the car is a AWD , the guy argues with me for like 10 minutes that my car is not all wheel drive??? till I show him the rear diff, anyway the flatbed comes , We go to the garage , and the guy tells me that they dont do turbocharged cars , I have to wait till monday to get the car transfered to another garage $@#^&% and now I'm stuck driving a f*cking taurus

Screw those little garage's, get your car to a Mitsu dealer.

Do not let some rinky dink shop work on your car. Let the dealer do it; after all, its still under warranty so who cares how much Mitsu is going to charge.

Yep, "100,000 mile drivetrain warrenty" *all maintince done at dealer on time*.. *tranny falls out*......*owner of dealer talking to mechanic* "quick think of something"...

As much as people bash extended warranties, I still thank god I have mine. When my car walked, I brought it to mitsu and told them I had a GE warranty on it. A week later, they call me and say GE is gonna replace the whole motor for me. 4k later(only payed $100 for deductible) I have a brand new motor sitting in my car. Not a bad deal I would say.

Sorry But It's called working , and I do it 65 hours a week , My dsm's making so many damned noises It's hard to keep track of them

UPDATE >>> ha ha the Guy tells me that the timing belt is not covered ( GO FIGURE) So I point out a paragraph that says that all belts are covered . :laugh: So the guy looks at the contract for about 10 minutes scratches his head , looks at me , looks puzzled , picks up the phone and calls his boss or something , then they put him on hold . i'm waiting there for like 4 hours and still nobody fixed anything yet.. Then the guy gets transfered to some other idiot , they go talk in this small office , the guy comes back and said to come back tomorrow

True that but let's say you work all week , there's no public transportation, you can't rent a car because your 18 , it costs 40$ for a ride in a cab to my job and back, A small rattling , is a very common think , it could be anything.

Funny story.... my car started making this grinding noise whenever I turned the wheel. Sometimes when I went over a speed bump it would go "creeaaakkk." So I said to myself "sure hope thats nothing that costs a shitload. I'll just ignore it and maybe it will go away." So it went away. Then about a month later my front wheel fell off the car when I was going 30mph.

Pretty funny, huh?

PS - I was heading towards a freeway onramp at the time.

PPS - Mitsu paid for the whole damn thing, due to a recalled front control arm part
