I have one of those MBC off of ebay and it is turned all the way in and the highest boost reading I get is only 12psi:confused: I am pretty sure I have it hooked up correctly. One hose goes to the wastegate and the other is teed into the bov line. What's up with this. The only reason I think this is happening is because the tee I used is not the same size on all the sides. One side is big then it gets smaller. I was not able to find a tee with the same size ends. Would this be the problem? Cuz I know all the way screwed in it should read higher than 12 psi. Let me know what you guys think. I want more boost for raceday.

ok here is a simple way to hook it up...go with the line off the compressor housing to the wastegate. Make sure the ball is the one facing the compressor houing. Turn it down and have fun.

Sorry bro, but I don't understand anything you just said:confused: Tee into a line or what? Turn what down? And what ball are you talkin about? Can someone clear this up? Thanks.

ok heres the deal...your mbc has a ball spring setup. Ok the line Im talking about comes off the bottom of the turbo compressor housing then "t's" off to go to the bcs and wastgate actuator. go from that line as the compressor/turbo preasure will go directly from the hosuing to the wastegate like stock. Basically put the mbc nipple thats below the nob/nut on the line going from the comp. housing to waste gate, and take the mbc nipple that goes to the side and hook it to the nipple on the wastegate with vacuum hose. If you dont understand still tell me Ill get you pictures.

andrew, id like to see a pic, i think i have mine set up liek that an it still no werk, i have the ebay mbc too. tx bro

Thanks for the help. I understand now, but I agree with the guy above. A picture would be nice.:thumb: Just to make sure. Appreciate your time.

I just noticed that you have a 2G eclipse. Wouldn't the set-up be different on a T-25 then a 14B? Just checking.

hooked up the mbc the way DSMeclipse4G63 did an it werked, but not all the time, 1/2 the time my boost will b 10 the other it will be 14 n i NEED it at 10 damnit

if you bought one of them mbc for like 12 bucks off ebay, chances are it sucks ass and doesn't even work correctly. try switching around the hoses and see if it changes, that's what was wrong with my XS MBC when i first installed it.

I got the chance to hook up the MBC the way you said it. All I have to say is WOW.OMG What a difference! At first I had it way too high and it boosted to 20psi. Now I know what you meant by screw it down.;) But anyways I have it set to 15psi and man does it pull hard. To think I beat the GS-R hatch on only 12psi. Ebay rocks!
