ok two seperate problems, first a few months back i was drivin an turned a corner at like 40 an the car wanted to die for like 10 seconds it was bogged like a mofo, an that happened again today an i was wondering if neone had an idea of what this was?? and second i have had my upper IC (stock) line pop off the plastic peice that comes up from the inter cooler under the fuse box, and the thing was clamped down like a mofo yet still pops off even when going under 20 ne ideas ppl thanks any info on this will be very much appreciated

Stumbling on Turning: Could it be that the turn you made sloshed the fuel in the tank away from the fuel pump? I.E. your fuel pump is on the left side of your tank and you made a hard left turn. This would only likely happen if your tank was low-ish on gas.

Upper IC popping off: Try replacing the clamp, if it's a little worn they can slip a bit and not hold tight. Can you wiggle the pipe off after you tighten it down?

Just my $0.02

no if i tighten it down all the way it doesnt com off an when i turned it was a right turn at 40 with 1/2 tank of gas

Did you check your wiring? Maybe there's a loose wire that is getting a bad connection during the turn.

Could it be that when you slow for the turn you're not downshifing and you're in too high a gear? Not a shot at your driving, just spitballing answers.

naw i took the turn in second at 40 cause i was tryin to catch up to this guy in a stupid gs spyder who thought he was tough shit on the freeway when he cut me off an almost caused an accident, an d no i havent check my wiring yet good idea it didnt even cross my mind

I had the same problem with my Upper intercooler pipes at the top of the IC. No matter how tight you clamp it its gonna pop off, what my problem was theres part of it thats supposed to be screwed/bolted down to the frame and i was missing the screw, check under the air filter or to the left of it or something and see if its screwed down or just sitting there, once i got a screw on there and made it nice and tight that IC pipe hasnt went anywere for months.

yeah make it nice and tight and BAM no more IC pipe coming off. Get a long screw and stick it through the hole and get a nut to fit it and stick it up under the car and get that thing fairly tight, i had to use some washers and stuff cause i didnt have the right size scews and stuff but you might not have to. Its gonna be hard to get the nut on the bottom of the screw, you might wanna take the front bumper off or jack it up some and get underneath it or take the IC off or something just so you can see what your doing, i just felt around till i found it and didnt bother trying to see it, but yoru at leats gonna have to take the gravel sheilds off if you dont jack it up i think.

ok well i have the ic off anyways cause im cleanin the whole front clip's underside so ill go ahead an do that thanks
