Screech at High RPM Shift

Sometimes, when I punch it I'll hear a kind of belt screech when the car shifts gears at a High RPM. Where could this be coming from and how could I get rid of it. BTW I drive an A/T 97 GSX.

Get under the hood and play with your throttle and raise the engine rpm to find out which belt is screaming like a b*tch because its slipping. Then replace that mo fo with a brand new belt by Gates.
