brand new greddy type s bad?

So im startin to think that all of my tuning problems are from my bov. Is it possible or common for these seals inside the bov to be bad even brand new? I tried tuning the bov the way the instuctions on vfaq said and it still does not open right.

The type S is known to leak. If I were you, I would have paid a little more for a HKS or Tial.

i've heard the diaphrams on the type-s often fail especially at higher boost levels. i would see if you can return it and get something else..
