Last night I was coming home from a girls house. I was going down 55 South in NJ (represent..heh). Anywho.
I was doing around 142mph and i felt my car seem to lean out a little...so i let off the gas. Got off the highway noticed my car was in baddddd shape. Engine was vibrating bad. Pulled out the spark plug wires one by one to see which one was dead, since that seemed to be the most obviou reason.
Pulled out 4, engine died down a little, pulled out 3, engine died down a little, pulled out 2, engine died down a little. I pulled out number one...the closest to the timing belt and the engine didnt make a difference. So i was like ok..dead spark plug. Got it home runnin on 3 cylinders. I hope that wasnt bad.
This morning about 5 mins ago i pulled out all spark plugs same way i tested last night. Well, on number one there was no electrode, I seem to have leaned out so muc it burnt it off.
I just want to know how bad is it that the peice of metal went through the engine. Obviously it didnt melt, since they resist high heat, but it definately went through my turbo...obviously again...
So, did i ef something up?
or is it ok...
