Clutch engagement problem!

OK, i drove my car yesterday and it drove as usual. no problems or anything. I park it for 24 hours, and go to move it and the clutch pushes in really easily, and if i take my foot off of it, it slowly rises back up.

i cant put it into any gear except 2nd, and 2nd is hard to get into, but doesnt grind, just clatters (my shift cables clatter from lose washer)

the car doesnt die if i turn the wheels all the way left, rpms dont drop if i push in clutch, i never had any CW issues or symptoms.

what could cause this problem? I checked the upper right fluid resovior which i think is clutch fluid, and its totally empty but i cant find a leak just yet. could this be a problem of clutch fluid?

please help
 
master slave problem possiblly. Check to see if there is fluid on the inside if the car where you feet are. Mine did same thing where clutch wouldnt come back up ! and that was it. If you want to check fluid its the little container under the hood right to the left (if looking at engine) by the driver .
 
My suggestions are:
- fill the reservior immediately, then pump the clutch to try to get the fluid working down there.
- if that doesn't work, try bleeding the clutch.
 
There is no fluid on the inside of the car, and yes the resevior is bone empty. its the one that says Japan on top of it right?

ill fill up the fluid and get back to u guys afterwards, but keep postin up possible things it could be please. Could my slave cylinder be leaking the fluids?

Master and slave cylinder or any of the lines running between them could be leaking.

Could definately be the slave cylinder. The same thing happened to me not too long after I got my car, the flared end of the line that mates up to the slave cylinder kinda broke off causing a pretty bad leak, I had to fill up the resevoir at every stop light almost. I recommend getting the SS clutch line from RRE, and you may want to inspect the slave cylinder itself to see if it needs replacement.
 
how or where do i check for leaks?

Where is the master and slave cylinder located so i can inspect them? Is it a fairly straight forward job because the car is immobile right now and i cant take it to any shop...
 
how expensive would it be for a new slave or master cylinder plus any other parts i might need to fix this problem if it IS the slave???
