Boost Leak???

i have had my 90 turbo laser for about 1 1/2 years now and it has 168,000 miles and i have no problems up untill a few weeks ago. if i give it gas gradually, its fine, but if i give it WOT then the boost goes up to about 7 psi. and then after that its like the turbo cuts out.(the turbo is stil creating boost but it is not getting put down to the wheels). its not givnig me any problems but it is a real PITA! if any one has ANY suggestions or tips please let me know!

I had this problem and it was easily fixed by replacing the exhaust gasket after the turbo
