Hey all. Im Chris, Ill be moving back to Oregon hopefully at the end of June possibly beginning of July. I have a 90 TSi AWD, Hase a few things done and possibly more to come. I got the car a lill over a year ago for 900. It was running but needed a lill tlc. I got it stock with a MBC, Turbo back and come to find out ARP head studs and a Walbro 190. I have converted to SD using Werewolf, 750CC injectors, Cyclone intake(going back to stocker) VRSF front mount, Meth Injection, 4 bolt swap(pending. sittin in a box) I had a engine bay fire due to brand new 20G blowing up(shaft snapped) and at the moment it was a open DP. I had a fire ball under my car which happened to catch the firewall area between the intake on fire. Ive replaced the harness, reservoir, vac tubing. did some weight reduction. Not too much though. I have the 14B back on in a 7CM housing. Hoping to be able to get the 20G rebuilt and back on the car before I leave. I grew up on the Coast. Coos Bay and Florence. So im very familiar with Oregon. Went to Mount Hood for a little while before going to the Military. Which is why im in Maryland. Cannot wait to get back. I thought I would enjoy not being there but was I wrong. Cant wait to get this car on some Logging roads and the Dunes! Looking for others to join up with and enjoy are cars!

Welcom back!!! I'm converting to sd soon. I was going to respray the car and make it nice but I have since picked up a galant vr4 so everything from the talon will be in the galant by August hopfully haha

Coming far your all the way east that is ganna be a fun trip are you ganna ship your stuff over? Theres more subys in oregon then anything not alot of dsms. Just make a local stop at english racing you know you wanna spend your speed addiction money there.

Ya im gonna ship my stuff. Ill be taking some with me but the bulk will be shipped. Its far but I can do it in about three days. Subys huh....No comp there. If they have something for me to get Ill stop by. But I like to do most of my own work. I think im gonna do a HX35 or 40. I wanna go big . Thinking as soon as I get back im gonna see if I can find a place for storage and do a build. Might do a stroker. 2.6 maybe. Dont like high revving but I may do it. 2.0 that can easily hit 9000 or so.

I feel you on the military deal . Welcome back. I might have to go with you on some logging roads with project rally beater .

I would suggest going with a 2.0 liter. With the proper turbo and tuning you can actually get pretty decent hp in mid range/ bottom.

Right now with the 14B I spool 21 pounds by 3000. Quick and hits hard. But Im looking for a lill more tq down low. Maybe just bump the comp up to 8.5. I do hope to have my 20G on by the time I leave. Shall see about that. On stock block im looking for 400 to 450 AWHP.
