anyone know if this is a waste of money or even some what legit?

hey i am lookin for some headers to put on my 6 bolt build but they are all sooo damn expensive!!!! i know these are ebay but ive seen obx on other cars just never had it myself so lookin for any feedback or if you know someone selling some decent tubular headers let me know.

People are probably going to bash me for saying this but In most situations unless spending 500 dollars or more an exhaust manifold is an exhaust manifold. Set aside equal/unequal length its only going to be as good as the person who made it.

No I am not saying that really. It would be hard to say but if you need that style turbo flange or there is a reason to upgrade it. It really doesn't look like a bad piece. I am more so saying that I have bought ebay exhaust manifolds that were better made than name brand ones so its hit or miss.

i am running a evo 3 big 16g. the flange in that link i posted is the same as stock correct? which will fit my 16g?

Ya it does say its a direct replacement but that doesn't mean no work is necessary. Basically what I am getting at is the stock manifold can support a decent amount of horsepower. The only reason I upgraded mine was the fact that the stock one was cracked badly. So unless the way it looks is bothering you there are other areas that our car lacks in more that could be upgraded to obtain better results.

yea mainly just looking to get a little more power with a more nicer styling look, like i hear the fp manifold works well i have thought hard on getting it. but its appearance wasnt much from stock . whats a decent tubular header you would recomend for the 16g?

Unless you shell out 700+ for a quality tubular manifold, a cast manifold will have a less chance of cracking

Depending on how hard you push it, an obx manifold would be ok. Some crack. Some don't.

i dont plan on running anything bigger then a 20g on it. im only running a 16g atm. when tuned id like to see 25psi?

Half of the welds in those pictures look like ass and half of them look really good.

I'd go with a FP, it's a great manifold and people make shit loads of power with it and it has pretty good spool.
