I got bored tonight and decided to finally photoshop this paint scheme I've had floating around in my mind. I don't think it turned out too bad. Not sure if I'd put it on a car.

I'm open to ANY opinions. I just did this to entertain myself.

I'll start by saying that the rims would have to go. :tease:

Ok, so I found some rims. I wish I could find a better (head on) image of them though. I just can't get the back rim to look normal.

Well, good job with the photoshop.

As far as the paint job goes, I'm not really diggin' it. If you really like the line you ran, I would just run the white all the way down and forget the blue. If you're going to change the color of your car (assuming you avatar is your car), you should just paint the whole thing black or white. Again, if you really like the two tone, I'd just paint the roof and hatch black and the rest white. Then, put some really dark tint on the windows to compliment the black. Just my two cents. Good luck.

I'm not going to have the money for a paint job this summer. I'm just trying to bounce a few ideas around. I like the blue with the Talon's black top. My debate has just been whether to add some sort of stripe down the side. the white stripe like that actually was an idea from the way I have one of my cars in NFS: Most Wanted LOL. The black/white/black is just so bold. Maybe I'm just weird. As a little kid, I always tried to wear the black shirt with blue pants. :p

Here you go!! I gave you a brake upgrade too!!

Wow, a lot nicer. I'm using Paint.net and haven't downloaded all the plug-ins I really need yet. I finally found a smudge one.
And I never thought to just straighten the front tire out.

I like it. Especially if you could get the iridescent paint or pearlescent blue like that appears. Flat colors wouldn't do it justice.

Oh, it would definately be a iridescent blue with a really glossy white and black. I want it to have that "wet paint" look. My friend's dad owns an auto body shop and they have extensive experience with custom paint jobs. They have a guy in house that does custom air brushing. They said that if I wanted, I could haul the car down there some weekend when the shop was closed and they'd help me paint it for free. I'd just have to pay for the paint and clear coat. He said that would be about $800-$1000 with the connections he has. :thumb:

It would have been painted this summer, but I caught the performance bug. I ended up adding go-fast parts instead of look-fast paint.

With plans to go Holset this summer, I doubt I'll have the money to paint it too. I have that college student budget.

I would say have the silver wider and lower . Less blue . Are you going for a TRi tone or just a big ass pinstrip ?

I was thinking lower not higher up . Not quite mid-door but around there .

First thought was to just get a CF hood and a black hatch. Then start the white at the top of the fender/door and bring it down to the point where the curve on the body peaks.

Then, I thought it would look pieced together without the black coming at least part way down the side.

I'm also not a fan of wide stripes. The stripe that's on there is about as thick as I'd like.

That shade of blue looks awesome. I think that paint job would be sweet
