Show me stripes

... but I'm considering putting some stripes on my car.

I'm thinking about getting 2 red racing stripes 1 being wide and 1 really narrow both offset towards the passenger side kinda by where the headlight is. I'm going with the whole white and red color scheme and generally don't care for rice mods but I want to do something to make the car stick out more. I think if done right this would look clean. Any thoughts or opinions?

yea I thought about that too ... I don't have photoshop though. This is probably the wrong forum for photo shop but I'll start a thread in the photoshop forum and link it.

I think it would look better with two stripes in the middle, just my $.02. Definetly red though.

Your car stands out pretty damn well right now! Anyone who knows anything about cars will recognize that you have a damn nice DSM and give you props. Sometimes people take it too far and ruin a gorgeous, simple, stunning piece of automotive beauty.

BUT, I will photoshop a couple examples for you (damn insomnia )

Well here's what I came up with in an hour:

Second to last one I added a cute little black out section on the passenger headlight . Seems like it could be a cool looking addition with some see-through black tint spray...(forget what it's called...)

Anyway, let me know what you think of any of the above. I personally like the car the way it is, but I'm not the one who wants it to stand out more

hmm I actually like the 1 wide one in the center like in the last pic. I'm going to search and see if anyone did what I originally had in mind before to help people picture it.

yea but it only looks sweet to other dsmers ... or turbo guys. Hell a lot of people don't even know what a fmic is. They just think " wow what a shiny radiator " ... I want it to stick out in a good way. I can't really explain it, but to me a fmic is nothing special.
