Ok so just the other day i was getting on to the freeway and i brought my 99 eclipse rs up to 6000 rpm in second gear. right when i got past 6000 it stopped pulling on me as id i was in neutral. but the rpms didnt spike on me as if i was? so i get home and im thinking ok well maybe the clutch is slipping. but befor i got a chance to look at the clutch i noticed a odd noise when im in gear staying at 3000 rpms. sounded like i spun a bearing. but that noise goes away past 3000 and under 3000. the car has complete power and has no problems taking off as long as i dont go over 6000 rpms? any ideas? anyone is welcome to come take a look at it as well.
