Monthly In-N-Out DSM Meets 2009 Chandler AZ

It's 2009 and time for another monthly DSM meet at the In-N-Out Burger just 1/2 mile east of I-10 on Ray Rd in Chandler.

Meets are always the 2nd Thursday of the month (unless announced otherwise on the SW region calendar). Gathering times vary from as early as 7PM in the winter to as late as 9PM in the summer.

so next meetin will be on 2/12....i'll be there... i have a 98 gsx .... its auto...my plan is to make just a few mods ... i just wanna do about 250 -280 hp...i guess you can help me with that since you guys experts

Yes, Chandler INO is this Thursday on the 12th. I placed the event on the SW calendar so you can have this site email you an alert each month so you don't forget future meets.

I might bring my GSX project to show off the new motor...just don't look at the rest of the car please. It's embarassing.

I was out there for a week in the middle of January (mainly downtown Phoenix) and I didn't see a single DSM the entire time.

you have UMS Tuning in Mesa , DynoComp in North Scottsdale,thats all that i know of ,theres probably more,

Report:

It was a nice meet but just a little nippy out. We had a 1G, two Galants and maybe eight 2Gs? AWD was popular last night and we got introduced to at least three new faces. Most people arrived around 8 with some as early at 7. Dave and I headed out around 9:30. I'm not sure how long everyone else braved the cold.

I did end up bring the 95 GSX. It was easily the worst looking car there until I opened the hood to reveal what the engine compartment looked like back in the fall of 94 when it was just a babe. Level 7 is now.sporting full LED tail lights in his 98 Talon. He is testing some new parts for me. We went different directions heading home so I'll have to see them in action later. Jason had his new 6-bolt stroker in his Talon. It's still being babied through the break-in stages yet.

There were at least three new faces last night. I may not get the names perfect but Fadel was there with a georgeous 98 black GSX with only about 78K on the odo. Steve and his wife were there with a nicely modded GST Spder plus he's working on a GSX with a blown motor. He's getting ready for a JDM block swap in that one. Ryan and his (GF? wife?) were there with a nice 1G (the only one I saw last night unless someone popped in later).

I haven't been out in awhile and it was nice to see some new faces as well as old friends. Hopefully as the weather warms up we'll start to get a bigger turn out.

I would like to thank Dave, Jason and everyone that gave me their thoughts and ideas on my up coming JDM engine installation in my 97 GSX. Even though it was a bit chilly, I enjoyed talking with everyone. See ya next month.

Awesome attendance last night at the meet. 2Gs ruled the evening with Talons having the dominate numbers overall. Thanks posting a few pics.

Sorry Luis was battling a cracked valve stem that kept him busy all evening. Hope he got home okay with the wife and son following in the SS. It was good to see Mike after a few missed meets. His old Galant showed up with a new owner (Nick I think?).

i will try sometime to meet up with you guys. i live about 3 hours away in the mountains and there are only 3 dsm's up here haha. one is out of its mission so now only 2 run the streets. my 1g and my friends 2g... hopefully we can meet you guys down there.
