English Racing’s Amazing 2011 in review.

What another amazing year for us. Wanted to give a huge thanks for all the local and national support.

Recap in list form since I am a bad story guy.

-8.35 out of Jeff’s auto Talon
-More 8sec passes in one year than any Mitsubishi has ever had. Over 60
-9 sec pass out of our 16g DSM and probably more 10sec passes than any Mitsubishi has ever seen. I lease the car to Billy to race. I know she has an easy 100+ low 10sec passes. Not one broken part. Same motor since 2009
-We built 46 motors this year. Did 33 motors in 2010 and 32 motors in 2009. Did not keep track before that. So this puts us well past 100 motors. I would say we install and tune 95% of them. So we really have a feel for what our motors do in the car.
-We did the 1st US auto EVO.
-Largest year in sales yet
-Started road racing some
-AEM EMS4 working on our turbocharged 700R Raptor 140whp 1 cylinder



2012 is looking to be even better. We have now moved into our new shop. The Dyno and shop in one location. We have a real waiting room and nice office for Aaron, Myles and me. The quality of work, organization and efficiency is improving a ton. We are going to try and grow our online sales this year. Hope to start shipping more motors since we have such a proven motor building system in place. Also I think we are going to be adding a military discount. Not sure yet on the %.

Love your work and glad you finnaly got your new shop it looks amazing.I will definetly be spending my tax return on you guys to finish up my ride.Now get to breaking some new records for 2012 and you should have dyno event at your new shop soon to show off if this weather ever gets better.

I'd love to see you guys get into rally cross

By the way what circuit was that? I've always wanted to go to a real circuit. I'm not huge about drag racing.

Done some Rally Cross in the past but really does not get the speeds I like Just like auto cross to slow.

There was PIR, Pacific Raceways and Marryhill hill climb.

Very inpressive Lucas, you guys are doing such a great thing for all of us DSM'ers. I am a couple weeks out from starting up the new motor from you guys, and after motor break in will be back up to see you for a SD tune. Keep up the great work and I know that your 2012 will be even better than 2011. I look forward to seeing the new place.

That's what I was guessing but never got the chance to go to either. As far as the rally, I can understand that. But for me there is nothing like not knowing if you are going to slam into a tree.
