Has anyone had any luck getting this recall done a second time? My GVR4 has apparently had it serviced, but it is leaking again. I tried the Yakima, WA Mitsu dealer and they said that they won't do it again, I didn't put up a fight or anything though.

I tried and failed. I have a pretty good relationship with the local dealership since I run a local shop but that didn't matter. If the VIN is in their system and shows the recall is done they won't do anything more. I have a recall kit with all the seals if you end up doing it yourself.

Yeah I just got finished calling my local dealer and corporate Mitsu and I got nothing from them. Local place didn't show any recalls open or in history, corporate just said no and that its on me.

A lot less hassle to just get the parts an do it yourself, doesn't take much time. I just did my a few months ago...

Only way I would go through the trouble of dealing with a the dealer is it I thought I had a shot at a brand new T-Case... .

I need to pick up a kit for mine. Not going to deal with dealership because I'm unsure if tranny and case are original. 204k on clock and tranny shifts perfect. But today drove into work and had some smoke coming from below car. Ducked down and saw my cat covered in something wet anf only assume it's the case leaking on it. Just started today after a 28 mile drive. Hasn't done it before so feel it's a fresh leak.

So where can I get a kit still? Most posts are a few years old so...

Thanks in advance for any pointers.
