So it looks as though i blew my head gasket last night. Loads of sweet smelling white smoke is coming from my exhaust, like enough to make an 8 foot high wall cloud with 2 revs of the engine.

Who would you guys recommend i take the car too? I am not able to fix this on my own.

how fast do you need it repaired? that's the big question but if time's not super important I can probably come out and take a look at it and then either help you do it or point you to a shop.

I either need it fixed within a week and or the choice to buy another car within a week beyond that it will be to much of a hassle.

well if your just trying to get it fixed almost any shop would work but kiazen speed probably knows moreabout imports than just about any other shop in the tri-cities.

Yeah i called around to a few shops and got estimates but everyone told me it would cost more to fix the car then i paid for it so i think i am just going to sell it for cheap as a parts car or something and buy a newer car.

really. it should cost that much... maybe $200 in parts and maybe $100 in machine work.

Hell, if you're going to tear it apart as a parts car, you might as well tear it apart and fix it yourself. Now is as good a time as any to learn how your car works.

I dont want to part it out, I want to sell it to someone as a whole on the cheap so either they can fix it or they can part it out themselves. It really comes down to a time issue more than anything but also reliability. I need a running reliable car as soon as possible to be able to make my long trek to work every day.

I live at the end of South Highlands on the street right before Keene

Nice I am only a few blocks away. I am right over near S. Highlands and Holly.
I rarely drive the 1g anymore and the Wife drives the Evo.
