here in columbia county, we have to get tested for emissions. I know Oregon tends to be very strict. I am planning on getting the SS Autochrome full 3" turboback exhaust. What are you guys doing to avoid not passing emissions? Or just avoiding it all together? I need suggestions!

Get emissions done with the stock exhaust, then put the 3" tbe on after

Oregon strict? I don't think so. I had no problem passing with my 1g with a custom 3" TBE. I tried without a cat, I was lucky they didn't do a visual inspection (some do, some don't) but my CO was too high and it was just a little too loud. I had a local muffler shop put a cat in (easy to do, and cheap), and passed with no problems at all. For you being OBD-II it might be a bit different, but as long as you have both O2 sensors installed with a cat (or no cat, the first O2 sensor and a simulator for the second) it should be ok.

In a nutshell: RadDsm gave some good advice; Go test now, then get your TBE, and you won't have to worry about it for another 2 years. You shouldn't have a problem passing with a TBE and a cat, without one, you might get lucky, you might not. If your TBE doesn't come with a cat, you can easily have a local exhaust shop put one in for you for a good price.
