Anybody know of anyone or anyplace that cand replace my timing belt for cheap? Just got my GSX today and the last time was 60k miles ago. Dont have that much to spend and mechanical experience to attempt it.

even over a local shop which i know the people personally? anything other than water pump and timing belt?

This is not something you want to go cheap on. Take it to a Mitsu dealer even if you have to borrow some money you want to make sure its done right.

Hehe, we must both be equally bored today...

You could contact English Racing and see how much they charge. It isn't rocket science by any means. I've done it at least 5 times on my car and now can do it in less than an hour easy. I would print out the vfaq and go to it, but I have a diy mentality. If somebody is a professional mechanic, they should be able to do a timing belt change... if they are also your friend just print off the vfaq and give it to them and they should be able to do it as good as any Mitsubishi dealership.

another second motion for english racing. Lucas english will do your car right for a good price. I go there all time and would not trust my car with any one else.
