As of todays post on pos it seems they will not be allowing this to happen this date due to the special event happening that night. From what I understand they are trying to work something out with the track owners to allow us a lane but who knows.

Sorry to get anyones hopes up.
I don't see how you still think you had any right to post this here, you said it yourself: You did not organize this or have anything to do with this. Why do you still think it was ok to post about it here? If we wanted it posted here, we would have posted it here.

Damn the way you guys act I don't think I want to even meet any of you.
No, but you said something about an event you had nothing to do with organizing. Again: If we wanted it posted here, it would have posted it here.

POS has been private for years, you obviously have no idea what "Private" means when it comes to a forum. Private means that only members can see the forums, public means anyone can see it, from any computer, without needing a login.

Way to prejudge a group of people you've never met.

This is your second post in the Renegade thread:

Seems like you were being an emo, crying in the corner to me.

Now seriously look at what I posted on this site. Did I mention anything about the cookout (untill now) that you guys were having? I realize I was not invited to the cook out and that was understandable.

I did not know you guys at pos owned a track and did not want anyone else but your group of friends to use it.

The way I see it this makes you all look bad at the way you acted here. Nothing makes you any better than anyone else on here or any other site.
You posted details about an event you had nothing to do with organizing, it was not your place to do so. Again: If we wanted it posted here, it would have posted it here.

We don't care how we look to you, or any other forum.

Unforutantely this will be mostly a meet where it is those members, and the persons they vouch for, If anyone cannot be vouched for, they are welcome to meet us at Renegade for the races.
Yes, because MSHR is organized by members of POS, so of course we own the mountain. IT'S OUR RUN, NOT YOURS.

Lets see now

1. POS is a public forum. Anyone can sign up to be a member. I proved this today by creating a bogus account just to look at the rules. Don't wory after the way the people on there have acted I don't care to waste my time with a site like that.

2. See above quote. I was told on pos that the bbq is for members who know each other and or people that get vouched for. If you don't have either of these two, you were invited to show up at the track and meet people and if you were liked you would get invite to next years bbq. Just look at what Skills posted who is a Moderator over on POS.

Basically a bunch of them have already decided they don't like me because of a post made almost 2 years ago when I told one of them to go F off. I have never met most of them and the few I have met seemed to be ok with me. Funny how people can be such thugs online and in person they are so much more reserved. One thing I think is really funny is go look at a bunch of their myspace accounts. Half of them are barely in their 20's and this just goes to show how mature some of them are.
1. POS is not public, you have to register and have a log in to see the site, good job proving that, "merkzu". You obviously don't get POSDSM, 'cause if you did, you wouldn't get butthurt and act like a 12 year.

2. You were told on POS, not here. POS is not Tuners. Get it? Skills doesn't organize this event.

You asked a question, it got answered. You asked another question, because you didn't like the answer to the first question, and repeated that question again and again when people kept telling you the answer you didn't want to hear. You got butthurt, and pissed off Will, who was already pissed off, because you didn't seem to get that your question was already answered, and got banned.

POS is full of e-thugs, and in person we are much cooler than you would think, but you don't want to meet any of us anyways, so what does it matter.

One thing I think is funny, is that you are calling us immature, when your reaction to us not wanting this posted, is that you did nothing wrong. You didn't organize it, you have nothing to do with it and you were wrong to post it here. Grow up and admit that.

One more time, here is some of your maturity:

Go ahead repeat what everyone else has already said. Nice and original.

I would think after reading some posts on pos you could of come up with something more original than this.

Last thing I am going to say is this. I did not know I would piss anyone off by posting this here. That is my fault for not knowing. I never read anywhere on pos that the meet was not to be talked about outside of pos. I only wanted to see who would be going and if anyone from my local would be heading over, that way I would have someone to ride along with.

Thread is done.

I took what everyone else said, and expounded on it, because you still didn't seem to get it. You were defending your actions as if you did the right thing.

Rule #1 on POS is: You don't talk about POS, and you could have just posted a thread on POS.

dont worry about any of this. pos should be down in the guiness book of world records for world largest circle jerk of a forum. that site is completly worthless as anykind of technicial research page because of the fact that as soon as you sign on to there and ask a simple question they will bash you in to oblivion. try it, create an account, ask a question, and let the bashing begin. its sad really when its the only nw exclusive dsm/evo/modified car forum and its a worthless piece of horse S##T. there are alot of really cool people on this forum and lets keep it that way. unless you were blessed at birth from poppoff and his lackies STAY AWAY FROM POSDSM.com

Well 1GHAAAAAW seems to be doing just fine over here at POS. No complaints from him. He's a full member now and he's only been on the site for a week. Hmmm...

POS is the remains of the members of the NWDSM Yahoo group, the original and really only DSM club in the NW. Sure, POS was once a large group of the best minds in DSMs in the NW. We had the fastest DSMs in the NW. And, we had the best DSM tech in the NW. Over time, as with all things, 90% of the members moved on to Evos, and eventually lost interest all together. POS is NOT by ANY means a techincal DSM forum, nor was it ever meant to be. It is a large group of friends that have been around during the days when NABR was it. Many of them don't own DSMs anymore, but they all still have the knowledge they gained over the years. I have learned sooo much from those guys about my car over the last 4 years I've been on there, and now my car is decently quick. I also, and I'm sorry to Zak and 1GHAAAAAW for saying this, have NEVER had more fun with my car than on the NWDSM/POSDSM runs: MSHR, HRR, and Renegade.

Those guys in the pictures happen to be friends of mine, so f*cking deal with it and get on with your f*cking lives! If ANYONE wants to try and come join POS, feel free. Afterall, it's a "public" forum right? You'll have to earn your way on though... That's just how it is.

im not saying they dont know what the hell there talking about. you just have to work your way through the miles and miles of e-thugs and crap talking to get a decent awnser if you have a question about anything. that forum is a public as it gets. no admin autho for an account and open posting for most the forum. most the hidden ones open at 200 posts. and its obvious i have donre that with the pics i have just posted.

We just like to #### with people. If you can get past the ethug shit and #### with us right back your gold. Like said above POS is not a tech form. Its a way for us in the NW to talk to each other and plan shit to do. I know there are a lot of great people over here that would do great on POS, but there are also a lot of ###s. Some of those ###s have show up on our runs and did really stupid ass shit. Most of up on POS that are the core OG members are now in our late 20s early 30s and just don't put up with teen age shit. Hell when I first joined NWdsm I was 17. That was back in 97-98 and never once did I act like some of the people from here that came on one of our runs. When hanging with older people you need to be just a little more respectful. So with that I invite any one to come and join POS some of our best members are from here and made that change fine.

You won't find a more famous group of people on any other automotive related forum in the NW. Two guys have cars with full features in the popular automotive magazines, Modified and DSport, many record drag race e.t.'s, a record HP Evo, a rally co-driver that's been shown in Grassroots Motorsports many times, a photographer that has pics used in magazine ads and promotional posters by such people as rally driver Ken Block, shop owners, a rocket scientist (srsly), badass skiers, and party extraordinaires. It's not that we think our shit don't stink, we're just a really tight knit group of friends. If you can't take the hazing, other forums beckon.

Also, just for the record, the guy pictured below is not a member of POSDSM. He was just a random skier at Alpental on May5.

I saw your car in the mag mark, congrats. you and brian are actualy some of the few i refer to when i say that there are some really good people on pos. lucas, paul, and it even seems like most the people i remember meeting IN PERSON were pretty cool. but its just all the e-thugs in the forum that were what turned me off from it. i understand that you guys want it to be a tight group of friends, and if thats the case make the forum private. it would just save you guys the heartache of having to flame every noob that comes in there and would turn people off of who you guys REALLY ARE.

Wow, so that's what happened to NWDSM. I was a pretty active member back in the pre forum days. We used to have a pretty strong group of people interested in fast cars and making them faster. From what I've read and seen demonstrated, no offense to anyone here, but the quality of members and content seems to have dropped significantly. I certainly don't remember the vulgarity nor the exclusionist attitudes. I hope I'm incorrect on this matter...

Well I joined in 1999 I think my email back then was hachiman521@aol.com, a long dead email account. I was also on the ATDSM Yahoo group. Can't remember my numbers off the top of my head since I left in 02 after my Talon burnt down on Snoqualamie pass. I have 2 kids and was going to UW so I decided to focus on other things besides DSMs. I seem to remember there only being a few people with personal issues on the mailing list and most of the exchanges were relevant to DSMs or cars, unlike POSDSM now. I guess, like stated earlier, it's more of a social forum and doesn't have much to do with the content of the old Yahoo group.

Of course the quality of content dropped. Do you really expect the same group of dudes to still be talking about the same subjects about the same cars for 10 years?

Back when you were active, people were still figuring out new shit with these cars. Now that it's been a decade, everybody's been there, done that. The exclusionist attitude came after we were asked "hey guys, how do I vent my bov?" for the millionth time.
