I was thinking may 17th would be a good time.

I know a really good drive if were doing bellingham meet.. we get off the freeway in sedro wolley, cut over to highway 9, cruise north on highway 9 which is really good twisty road for some higher speeds and also some nice mountain views tell we hit the mt baker highway. then head west back to bellingham, then over to chuckanut drive where there are some gorgeous views driving along the shore line and lots of twistys followed by a long straight streach, then if we want we would be in Burlington and at that point and could easliy head to the deception pass bridge and then down the that one lake that's really close to the ocean its about 2-3 miles south of bridge and there's a nice beach there. camping also in the area.

Here is the plan:
for the people up north we will meet at the the Sehome Hagen parking lot, at the far end of the lot across from hagen by the 76 gas station. we will then proceed to Chuckanut drive and drive on down. at the end of chuckanut we will get back onto I-5 and go the to the Burlington Hagen and once again meet at the far end of the parking lot there so that the people coming from the south can meet up with us.

since we are planning on meeting at 12:30 i figure we wont hit the road until 1 and then the meet up time at the Burlington hagen should be from 1:30-2.

then we will head back up North Via the Valley Highway and back into Bellingham Via the Mt. Baker Highway. from there the people from the north can go home and the people from the south can continue on to chcukanut and use it to go back south. this way we all get to experience the roads without have to make extra trips up and down.

I was just up there yesterday, stayed at B&B a little past Bow with my now fiance:sneaky: We drove her pig Diamante up and back. She was squeeling half the time and I was even being a polite driver, well mostly...

I am servicing for the Mazda 323 GTX at the Oregon trail rally from May 16-18 so I will have to back out of this event. :( Sorry guys!
