Hey, just wondering if any local DSM'ers to the Seattle/Everett area could spare a few hours giving me a hand with my AWD DSM project?
I've been working on a fwd to awd engine swap for the last few months. I'm just now coming off a four week break and having a hard time getting my self motivated this time around.
This is a small list of some things left to do:
- hang engine to hoist from stand
- hang trany to engine
- install engine (second one for me)
- swap non LSD rear diff (broken) with used LSD/axles
- pull walbro255 from fwd and install into awd
- swap rear wiper motor from fwd to awd (cant seem to remove it...???)
- swap good interior parts from one to the other (rear seats & panels are done)
- finish power window swap (drivers side completed)
- fix or custom fab a roof liner
- finish car audio (7 spkrs, 3 amps & head unit - full dina-mat complete)
This is just off the top of my head.... I'm sure this list will enlarge as I attempt to check things off. That seems to be how these projects go!
If someone wouldn't mind lending a hand it would be greatly appreciated.
Thought I'd ask...
Thanks, Sean.
I have Friday's and Saturday's off.
