Need a shop

Hey I was wondering what shop would be good for me to take my car to. I need to get my engine and turbo looked at and possibly a turbo rebuild or install. I've heard a lot of good things about english racing but they're gone from the shop for a few days. Thanks for your help

We've worked on and owned a number of DSM's.... Not sure where you're located, but we're in Beaverton off TV Highway.

Try Pinamotorsports in Kent. Maybe too far from where you live.

I don't know where Ridgefield is but Lucas English at English Racing in Washougal (Vancouver) would be good, or Pina Motorsports in Kent would work also. They would be the best places because they specialize in DSMs. RRev Motorsports in Portland would be good too...

Thanks guys, I think I'll go to English. They're only about 30 min from me. Pina is good also but too far away (I bought the car in Tacoma and took it to them for a PPI, they were great, and really detailed)

Holy crap, I just realized that you were the one that bought my friend Ramses' 2.4L 95 GSX! He bought an Evo... He never mentioned any problems with the car. Well Pina was the shop that built that car so it was done well for sure. Andre builds some awesome engines there. But Lucas is an EXCELLENT resource for any DSM issues you may have. He's back in town now as well.

I can not say enough good things about Lucas. I will just tell you this. I drive 4hrs one way to go to him when we can't figure out the problem over the phone.

Ya I'm the one who bought Ramses' car. There wasn't anything really wrong with it, the oil pressure jumped and the line didn't hold. I think it might just be the oil pressure release valve or at least i'm hoping. I'm also hoping I didn't hurt the engine (i didn't run it very long after the line blew) Anyway I'm calling English tomarrow, thanks again guys
