Small rant while I'm between classes....
Yay for a car being down, AGAIN. My car has started to throw a bit of white smoke out the back. Didn't think anything of it as we've had really cold weather for weeks now. But it started to blow more, and I started to notice nights where cars around me weren't smoking at all, but mine was. Great...
Well, I went to run a few quick errands the other day after driving home from work for 20 minutes. Had to pick up my dad. So I'm just sitting, idling, a bit of smoke pluming out the back (not extreme, but more than a normal car for sure), and the check engine light comes on. Oh joy. I'm too afraid/paranoid to drive it, even though it has felt smooth as butter even while I've noticed the minor smoking.
My car has to go to the Korum Dealership in Pyuallup because they focked up my brand new bumper I put on the other week. They were backing off a lift after inspecting my suspension for a creaking noise and the bumper caught a bolt and it put a foot-long split right up the middle. I think it may have broken one of the bolts off my driver side headlight too... just my luck eh?
Anyway, point is when I take it to them to have a new bumper painted and put on, I'll have them see what the Check Engine light is for. I'm thinking head gasket, or maybe bad seals on the turbo is what's causing the white smoke. Ima sh!t my pants if it's a cracked head. The car overheated a bit way back in August, so I would assume that problems from that would have shown up a long time ago. Maybe not?
The crap that's gone wrong with my car is getting rediculous... damn the previous owner, and damn my stupidity for buying the car before checking over it thoroughly.
Anyone else having problems with there car?

Hope everything comes out ok and its nothing major!
Actually you could if you wanted to test-fit it on your car just to see what it looks like...but than again, seeing my car with it would be almost identical to seeing your car with it. Or maybe you could use it to see how much cutting, if any, is needed to fit a 97-99 bumper around your FMIC.
I was just asking if any local people had cars down.
