I have the 97-99 GST 16s in either the CHROME or the not chrome ones. Yes I have 2 sets. I even have a set of 97-99 GSX 17s. The chrome 16s are in great conditon. The non chrome are fair-good. The GSX 17s, those are fair, one needs to be fixed because air leaks.

How much tred is left on the tires on the chrome and what kind of tires

Yeah, its rattle can painted and its pretty good cause I prep'd it before I painted it. Only has 2 or so chips cause of the tire wrench being dropped when loosening the lug nut, but it aint really noticeable.
