DSM Caravan to SYTFU BBQ meet April 11th

Hey there everyone,

Well for those that know, the SYTFU BBQ meet has been set for April 11th. Now I was wondering if you guys wanted to do a caravan to the event that day. I know the folks from SF are going to be planning their own caravan down to Alameda, so I wanted to try and setup a caravan for those coming from the South Bay going up to the event.

I believe that the DSM folks from Castro Valley have their caravan set as well. Jon did you guys already set one up for the BBQ?

This caravan would be the people heading up from San Jose, Union City, Hayward, Fremont, Milpitas and so forth. Also anyone that's coming from other areas that don't know which caravan to join can roll with us as well.

Did you all wanna meet lets say around 10:30-11:30 at Krispy Kreme in Union City seeing as that would be on they way up to Alameda for the BBQ.

Well I figured that all the people from San Jose, Milpitas, Fremont, Union City, Hayward and Castro Valley DSMers could meet at the Wal-Mart in Oakland unless this is a problem for some of you. I just chose this specific area so that people from Castro Valley don't have to backtrack in order to be part of the caravan.



Well here is the address for the Oakland Walmart with directions coming from 880N

Directions when coming on 880N

9. Take exit 36 toward Hegenberger Rd
0.3 mi
10. Turn left at Edes Ave (signs for Hegenberger Rd)

Destination will be on the right

EITHER OR IS FINE WITH ME.... IM COMING FROM DALY CITY SO IT DOESNT REALLY MATTER.... OHH FOR DOES DSMERS IN FRISCO AND DALY CITY AREA IF YOU GUYS WANT WE COULD MEET UP AT DALY CITY STARBUCKS AROUND 9:30 AND CARAVAN TO MEET THE OTHERS IN WAL MART OR KRISPY CREME.... LET ME KNOW GUYS....

Well I just talked to Jon yesterday and he's not sure if the the other cars are gonna make it out to the BBQ and that he'll meet us out there at the event, so I think that we'll have our caravan meet point be at Krispy Kreme in Union City since it's a bit safer. Also the Sf DSM's are welcome to meet with us, just a bit more driving for you guys to do. Just lemme know what's up everyone =D

I was thinking of meeting up here:

Because it's more central than Daly City and easier to park at without getting hassled. Plus several of us who have attended the previous meets have been there already and know the area relatively well. From there it's also pretty easy to get to 101 North.

Whats up man.. Well looks like im the only one thats from fairfield vacaville so im gonna wanna meet up with you guys.. jus gonna have to drive a lil more.. but im ok with that.. Eric, you are more than welcome to join us. There is a 5 dollar entrance fee from my understanding for your car. The money is going to the Children's Hospital in Oakland so it's for a good cause. I may be missing this weekend's BBQ, but I'll be swinging through the Evo Empire BBQ the following weekend and picking up a set of Brembo's
