So some of you know the life story of that car. Last night we finally go to get 25+ runs on a dyno and we got her up to 580whp mustang dyno, 699 whp dyno jet. We ran out of fuel (100% duty cycle) so I will have to wait until we get new injectors. To summarize everything, I am very happy with the car. I'll post times once we run the car at the track. :dsm:

The head gasket decided to give up on my few hours before putting the car on the trailer. I will be putting a new SCE gasket and new head studs on Monday. Let's hope I can make it to Test and Tune on Friday.

We had some really quick cars today, many of of them just 0.1 away from hitting a 10 sec pass. Great Job guys!! Congrats to Dave W. who took 2nd place I believe.

Ouch, sorry to hear. That sucks. Especially after just getting the car running well after having been down for so long.

Any idea why it went?

Time for some A1's maybe? :D

no, this is based on a correction factor of 20% which we have established over back to back pulls on different dynos over time.

like ANY two dynos read the same anyways, there will always be the "x" factor, whats important is, kamil dynoed 580 on a dyno that cars that were putting down 440 ran 10's on. The car is making some serious power, and once he gets used to all the new parts and takes it to the track a few times, we will see some seriously fast times from him.

gl friday, and sorry to hear (/see) about yours and luis' car, and edwins and pats I guess...

also, I vote no more all nighters the night(S) before a track event, since theres always problems, and it leaves the idiot who wants to drive 220 miles afterwards doing something very stupid and dangerous. Im honestly surprised I made it home in once piece without a trip to the er. Edwin made the right choice and took the day off of school and stayed up there.

I agree with Brian........NO MORE ALL NIGHTERS the 2 nights before racing.....although we are getting pretty damn good at it i must say LOL.

Congrats on the #'s you car was trippin me out on the dyno......i swear it was about to lift the front tires off the rollers and crash right into me video taping :sosad: ROFL

Sorry i had to leave the shop early did you get some work done?

I'll be there tonight will you? Did you find me the clutch cable?

TNT here we come!

Patrick

p.s. Just wanted to say thanks to you Brian for you help and for hauling my front bumper around :thumb:

Come on down then and spread'em i got some time in the schedule if you like >>>>>>>>:sosad: hey look i don't even need any lube hehehehe

And Raul don't even get me started MR. 60ft. :p

must have been a LONG time since you last talked...he was awd when I met him 2 years go.

holy moly. Don't tell me you bought Abe's poopra.
It's awd now. Love and hate relationship as usual. Nothing changed. What's new with you?

Not much man, 0.6mph off a land speed record in my turd wind caught my chute I went through the traps sideways at 180 last month. So far I've gone faster at el mirage than the 230mph Z, hondata, progress and pretty much everyone that runs in the same classes as I do, all of them well into the 200s at bonneville, but still no record because they reclassified me from GT to Production a couple times always the same race I went fast enough to set the previous classes record, messed me up a bit but I got it all straight for next race ;)

What I been happy with was that the car suddenly found reliability which let me move forward power wise instead of chasing my ass around forever. Finally ran race gas and tried to turn up the wick but the 60trim didnt have anything more than it had on pump gas really it wouldn't boost more than 23psi @ 516whp. Sucks though I couldnt use pump gas, rule changes for this year. Pump gas has so much methanol it fails the tests for carrying fuel and oxygen.

Abe's supra is still for sale, I've had this one for about a year as my DD but been doing a restoration:

How happy are you with the AWD conversion? Easier than just swapping to an AWD shell? What turbo are you running now? Maybe this stuff is rehash on what you've already talked about before on the forums, I'll do some searching when I get time. Good to hear from you again. Hope all is well. I havent ventured outside NABR for some years but I found a thread about me on here because it was linking my website, so I signed up.

Lets see kamil and I met in what 2001? something like that when we all had stock motors with 50trim/60rim and that was considered an insane un-streetable setup ROFL

So when are we gonna see all this power go to the ground! 9 second bay area 2g? Would be sickkkkkkk.

Dang, Drew is still lurking. I was just talking about your Bonneville stuff the other day.

Right on man :) Its a good year for DSMs so far in land speed and standing mile stuff. We're setting records all over the place in our categories. Mike Reichen is my hero ;)

My buddy vernon set the bonneville record this year in a galant VR4 brick! That record had stood for 13 years!
