Hey guys I'm a new recruit to the dsm family. Since the wee age of 13 when I spotted my first red gsx at a movie theater I knew I needed that car to live. 6 years later I now own one. Enough with the stories. I live in Pinole and was wondering of any dsmers living around me wanting to meet and hang out or whatever. It would be really awesome being I don't see many around here and would love to grab a couple friends with dsms. Pm me or post here

Welcome. How do you like your car? What's done to it? And what do you have planned?

I love my car aside from the lifter tick:toobad: . I'll get some pics up soon. shes lowered almost dead to the ground with eibachs. I have an underdrive pulley kit in too. The guy I bought it from also gave me a 3 inch downpipe and balance shaft eliminator kit which i'd llike to put in sometime in the summer. My plans are to do full exhaust and a boost controller due to the fact i have boost creep.

Congrats on the DSM. I actually live in Tara hills across from Fitzgerald and I never see any DSMs here except a red one but has a 2gb conversion...not sure if its you but i've seen it on San Pablo rd twice

I would do the timing belt when you eliminate the balance shaft eliminator. The boost controller is a suitable mod, but not the cure for boost creep. The first step to solving your creep issue is porting.

This is a good article for porting if you haven't found it yet

I ported out the intake side and wastegate passage on my 16G and am currently running 9psi with no boost creep or boost spike. Once I get my injectors back from cleaning I'll be upping the boost, but it's nice to know that I can run that boost.

wow..i never realized injector cleaning was so expensive. at that price i think i would sell mine for like $200 and use the money to go bigger. but thats just me

I sent it out to RC Engineering in Southern California. www.rceng.com
It cost me $24 per injector plus shipping for my denso 660's.

Thanks man, i wanted to send out my injectors, but didnt want them to go too far. Im running denso 660's as well.

When you get your flow sheet back PM me or something with the flow rates (cc's) at different fuel pressure (psi). That would be very much appreciated as i forget if they are 660cc at 43 psi base fuel pressure or is that 37 psi? It made it a little harder for me to get em dialed in with dsmlink.

Thanks bro.
