For all of you that know me, which probably isn't a whole lot anymore, its that time of year again for registration. Since i know MANY of you have heavily modified cars, how did you guys get around smog?
For certain technical reasons, don't respost on this thread, but if you can send me a private message, regarding what you did, or who did what for you (wink wink) regarding smog, hit me up.
I got about 3 weeks to get my shit smogged, so I could use some answers now. And i would preferr to not put my shit back to stock if i did not have to.

Oh yeah
if you curious as to why my setup wont pass, look at my info. Most of it should be up to date

Thanks guys

I actually passed smog without any under the table hookup or anything. My mods:
3" turboback (3" hf cat) 4" greddy pe tip, fmic w/all hard pipes, 3.5" intake pipe, greddy type s recirc., k&n fpik, walboro 190, denso 660s, pte 50 trim with polished compressor housing internally gated, and whatever else i forgot.. stock motor, i want cams since there was someone on dsmlink in cali who had similar setup like mine except BIGGER INJECTORS AND FP and had 272s, and it was a fwd.. so hello dyno..

so if your setup comes close to that or not you should pass, unless your running straight standalone and a bit more aggressive setup..

it also helps my car is awd and a 95 so no dyno and no obdii readiness test.

*edit
do you have the smog result numbers? i just took a look at your setup, you should pass. it really shouldnt be that big of a problem. are you trying to lean out your safc to compensate for your bigger injectors. When I was still running the safc and same fuel setup I leaned it out thinking oh ok this will work. FAILED, FAILED FAILED, i could not dial it in. The easiest way because I was in a rush, put back stock injectors, 0 it out on the afc, and stock fuel presure on the walboro (where I always had it set). You have a 255lph so hopefully ou have an FPR.

You also might have a problem with the o2 dump if they are real anal with visual, and speaking of which, just tell them its factory turbo and you cleaned everything up.. seems to work for me.

You really shouldn't be paying $250-300 at other places ;) to pass smog with your setup.

BTW werent you trying to sell your car a while back?

I'm going to tell your local pd what you are doing Chris, hahaha ROFL ROFL

well with the downpipe and cat eliminator, no matter what i do to the fuel trim, i wont pass smog. so id have to put the stock turbo back exhaust back on plus adjust the fuel trims to pass, and unfortunately no, i dont have a FPR.
