so i picked this car up today. it has a burnt up valve on cyl 2. has eibach sportlines, kyb agx struts, dejon intake, dp, 3" catback, high flow cat. the paint looks new even though it is original. no dings or dents. no oxidation. its a maroon interior but its in perfect condition. not THAT bad if you ask me. the price is tooo cheap to post!

Clean car man. The paint is really nice, but what's up with the front bumper - it looks like it's been painted over and there's overspray on the bottom or something? I like the red interior especially on a white car. There was a thread about that interior on here a while ago.

the black talon is going to get painted and sold. aftermarket stuff will be parted out

yeah. theres actually a 3" spot on the driver side where he hit something, just paint damage. there are spiderweb cracks on the front bumper, looks like spray paint to me. oh well, i plan to change to a talon bumper anyways

yeah seriously. karking was selling 2.4 cranks for $170 before shipping. they sold out though. still need to figure out the head work though. i'll call sean soon. i figure out a source for money though...part out the exhaust from either one of the cars. and get rid of some other parts. any buyers?

Very true, there was one on there for $700 and they claimed all that was needed was a rebuilt head. Shit can't beat a 6bolt block and 4bolt rear end for that.

Alright so its THIS sat that I am comming up to chill.... I thought it was last saturday and called you to see what was the deal with the car and never got a call back. Not like I could have helped I was having a very depressing dyno tune session going on but its chill. Call me up later this week and let me know how everthing is going to plan out and I'll come up and help. And I got a spare valve cover for you too.

sweet bro, now i dont have to search for a valve cover. i was in LA all weekend. its ok...you can tell me all about the dyno session this weekend. hopefully its just a valve. if so, we should be able to get this car done soon. i still need to smog it though. and then part the black car and the buildup begins! i still need to call up fftec and discuss the buildup

So me and zach pulled the head this morning on the car. One of the exhaust vavles on cyl 2 is cracked. Off to FFTEC to be rebuilt

We don't know!? that's the weird part. The pistons and cylynder walls look perfect, but there is half a valve missing . There was a little bit of metal dust on the bottom of that same cyl. so I was guessing that was it.

Could that part of the valve shot out the exaust manafold and down the pipe? May be stuck in the cat?
