WHATS UP DSM'ers THE TIME HAS COME FOR ANOTHER MEET. ALL THE MEETS WE HAd SO FAR HAVE BEEN PRETTY GOOD WITH NO PROBLEMS. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOME NEW FACES AND RIDES OUT THERE FOR , SO ALL ARE WELCOME TO COME DOWN AND HANG OUT WITH US. IF WERE LUCKY WE WILL BE BLESSED WITH A SPECIAL APPEARENCE OF NONE OTHER THEN THE AND ONLY DEFIANT( :D ). WE MEET AT FOOD 4 LESS OFF OF I-5 AND DOWNING @ 9:45PM OR 10:00PM TIL ABOUT MIDNIGHT OR LATER. Well, I would go, but I no longer own a DSM (thank god! :D ). I could bring out the new ride....or i'll just roll with thomas... LOL!

btw from now on, just park at the place across from the bank that we usually move to, might as well get into the habit of just going there first.

btw ill be there and wont be reppin the 4x4 look. tein h-techs and tokico adjustables should be in by midweek at the latest.

dammit my tax refund just came in now i might have sears do it while im at work or something, you guys got me all worried doing springs/struts are something an elitist like me cant do.
 
yeah but i work at the mall, so i could go into work, drop the car off, work, and get off, walk to sears, and pick it up.

but ill more than likely attempt it myself. if it doesnt work out, then ill have them do it. but dropping a car and installing shocks is a n00b deal, honda kiddies do it everyday with their 20$ ebay coilovers, if i cant do it with all the tools i have in my garage, i shouldnt be around cars.

btw still aint gonna tell us where the mighty whitey talon was at last weekend?
 
damn thats a 3 hour drive for me and i have no hood right now. hmm, ill se what i can do.. maybe i can go...
 
WELL ITS ALL BAD GUYS MY F@#K'N CAR IS BROKE DOWN AGAIN FOR THE FOURTH TIME. I BLEW OUT MY MOTOR, THE CRANK BEARINGS WENT OUT AND LOCKED UP MY MOTOR. SO I WON'T BE THERE THIS FRIDAY UNLESS I GET THE NEW MOTOR AND HAVE EVERYTHING DONE BY FRIDAY. IF YOU GUYS KNOW WHERE TO GET A COMPLETE MOTOR FOR A REASONABLE PRICE AND SOME WHERE CLOSE SO I COULD PICK IT UP LET ME KNOW. :mad: :notgood: :(

hey i know where you can get one for fairly cheap with a warrenty....the place is called "Attarco". they sell used "JDM" motors. If you're lucky, you might get a 6bolt...here's their phone number....(209) 521-4000. they are in Modesto. If ya need help picking it up, I probably have access to a truck...

They sold me a rodknocked engine. However, they did replace it... but that one sucked too. Low compression, and a couple months later it blew the head gasket.

It's better just to save up and buy a rebuilt one.






Annnyways...how about instead of two meets on the same weekend, we make one big one and meet up on Saturday in Dublin with everyone else?
 
i've bought 2 motors and 3 transmissions from them, never had any problems...of course, those were honda motors.. ROFL

i didn't know there was a meet in dublin....i'm down to roll out there too.... :rocks:

I might be able to make it on friday, but definately not on saturday...

I Called That Place And He Told Me All They Have Is Chrysler Rebuilts And That I Would Have To Go To The Dealer. I Don't Know! But You Guys Can Help Out Or Find A Jdm Motor Please Let Me Know.

THERE MOTORS LOOK PRETTY GOOD , BUT ARE THEY ANY GOOD IS THE QUESTION. FOR $1750 IT BETTER NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS , CAUSE I STILL GOT TO GET A TURBO FOR IT. I THINK I BLEW MINE SO I WILL EITHER SEND IT IN AND FIX IT WITH UPGRADES IF ANY OR GET ANOTHER ONE, NOTHING TO MUCH FOR NOW JUST SOMETHING SIMPLE.
