Anyone who has done a timing belt on a dsm before it would be much appreciated if you come by and help out...

Also I'm going to print up the vfaq so hopefully it will bepretty straight forward...

I just finished putting my engine in my 2G back together wait a pain, if I can get it up and running on Saturday, I maybe able to give you a hand on Sunday. Make sure to try and find those special tools for getting it tensioned it will make your life a hell of a lot easier.

Wouldn't be worth it to pay you/anyone... besides ive helped u out plenty of times for free... if i wanted to pay someone it would go to a shop and get it done right... :D

Nothing in life is free. Even before I worked on cars for a living I at least expected people to buy me dinner and/or beer for working on their car. Helping means doing it all in the end 90% of the time anyway.
 
Well yeah Nick, there's an unwritten code that dinner or beer is adequate payment for help on a hard car job. However, this code also stipulates that you do NOT ask for money unless you work on cars for a living. :D
