Had a question, I work at Schucks Auto Supply and I can get an great deal on all NOS products. I have the 420a engine, running boost. They make a Chrysler EFI Dry kit for a Dodge Neon (DOHC). Think I can run it on my car? Thanks.

ARe you using a rising rate fuel pressure regulator now for your turbo kit?? If you are I would say not to get a dry kit. Your rail pressure would be sky high and could lock up you injectors. That is jsut my first impression.

I am sure Aslan will be here soon to give you a better idea.

i definately agree with IPT, get a wet kit if you're using a rising-rate.

how much boost are you running? IC? fuel management? is the motor stock?

the biggest thing with nitrous is making sure you have enough fuel for it. it's amazing how much nitrous a motor will take when you just make sure it's tuned properly.

I thought stock turbo DSMs came with a rising FPR? If so then why is it that a stock dsm fpr works fine with a dry kit in turbo DSMs.

he said he's got a 420A motor with an HRC kit.

I'm just thinking that he might have the same type of FPR as ours since ours should also be a rising rate FPR.

Nano...just curious do you see any boost creep at all when running at 18 psi, and what ever shot of nitrous you are running at the time? Also, do you always keep your boost setting at a constant 18 psi? Thanks!!

ON the nitrous I run 20psi of boost and a 75shot of nitrous. I do this with 110 leaded. I get no creep or spikes. On pump gas I've been running 18-19spi of boost with no problems all the time.

Thanks man! I was just wondering because we both have very similar mods minus your transmission and supra smic.

On pump gas I also don't run more then a 55 shot, wich I don't really do often anyway. I preffer to run race gas on nitrous just to be safe.

Cool! That's about all I would run anyways on the streets with the Big28. Also in this months edition of Super Street mag I noticed a guy that has turbo'd supra running a zex kit, so maybe it is a safer kit than everyone thinks. Thanks again!!
