Very new to meth/water injection. some super newb questions.

Hi there,
So Im shooting for 600whp on a built 2g, gt35r, all supporting upgrades on 93pump fuel. I have been reading that it is possible, but it looks like meth injection is a good idea. So i have several questions. What are your oppinions on running meth with these power goals? and How the hell does this work? I have read and understood how the mixture cools the engine and air, and i understand how the kit works, but how does the pump know how much meth to pump? is it anything like fuel injection where it injects more with more boost pressure, or is it always running a set amount? or does it turn on as a set boost or rpm level? also, do i need to have the meth injection system communicate with DSMlink or is the meth system a stand alone that is self managed?

You inject a mixture of water and methanol because water has such a high specific heat capacity that it can dramatically lower the air intake temperature and cylinder temperatures. Meth is injected to help increase the octain level of the fuel, it has a lower specific heat capacity so it does less cooling than the water does. Once the mixture gets above boiling point (Whether it happens in the intake track or in the cylinder) the phase change of the fluid absorbs tremendous amounts of heat.

I inject meth starting at about 15psi. How much meth gets injected is monitored by how large of a nozzle you run. You can also use a progressive control to feed meth in slowely. These systems become expensive and I do not see the need to have one. You can either trigger meth via Link or a hobbs pressure switch. (Unless you are running a progressive controller, then it gets a boost input and will turn it on and off.)
