alright guys, ive searched but couldnt find exactly the answer that i was looking for. Im getting dsm linked this week and i think im going to buy a nitrous express efi stage one kit as well. Ive got a 95 TSI AWD with an evo III 16g GT at 20psi, as well as all the supporting mods (3"turbo back, walbro 255, 650's, porting, act 2600, afpr, etc) I also have every day access to 93 octane fuel at the local pump. Im just wondering how high of a shot i could run with my stock internals since all ive done so far is bolt-ons. Id like to get away with a 35 or 50 shot if possible. Do you think i can get away with it or am i running too much of a risk of damaging my engine? thanks in advance!

I'd back the boost off a little the fist time you spray, it tends to climb a little when your on the juice.

I'm spraying a 50 shot on a NX Express wet kit on a stock 6bolt running a 50trim @ 17psi (gm 3bar) w/ dsmlink, 93 octane, pte 680s, walbro 255, and automatic tranny. This is on a 95 talon awd auto. Wideband shows me running at 10-10.6 the whole time, this was done just off a non-nitrous tune and I knocked .4deg on the 4th hard pull, one right after another.

I'm trying to figure out what jets I need to use for a 100 shot because NX Express does not show them in the chart

i would get alchy injection, its cheaper and you could run enough extra boost and timing to get 30-50 hp, and filling a jug of water is much cheaper than n2o. i don't think nx is a bad idea but i would wait till i had a turbo that was larger/slower to spool so i felt it was a logical mod

I'll have something as soon as I get the $$. The rest of the car is ready for the turbo. :) Something T4 and huge.

i was mostly advising it for purpleesi. i don't know much about autos and how well they launch but i would imagine they don't do as well as a manual so i would say you would need the shot more, also you are using a larger turbo.

imo I havn't used nitrous yet but I'm a believer in it and it will probably be my next mod. Also when running a bigger turbo it's nice to have the power band come on sooner.

From my experience I've seen auto's launch alotttt better than a manual.
