Why doesn't someone make a "gradual" shot...

One that would steadily increase as RPMs do so that instead of the INSTANT 100hp drivetrain busters on a dyno sheet, you get a gradual increase that acts much like a turbocharger and saves you from broken parts...

its called a progresive they bin out for years. with a 100 it really isnt worth it. if you were talking 200 or better now thats another strory.

They guys that are running huge shots (250-300+) do it in stages. If you added 300hp all at once, your car wouldn't be running long. They usually do it according to distance though, not by rpm. Usually one stage at launch, one at 1/8th mile, and the last after that. There are variations though obviously.

But why would you want it on a 100hp shot? You want all the power you can get as early as you can get it, so having it 'like a turbo' wouldn't benefit you at all.

Lots of companies from Jacobs Electronics, NOS, NX, ane even the AEM EMS have progressive controllers for nitrous solenoids. WTF

Any dry nitrous kit comes on slower than a wet kit does. If you use any NOS dry kit like the 5123 it will come on a lot smoother on the street than a wet kit will. This will practically give you a gradual shot your looking for.

My wet kit compared to dry was way harsher, and direct port that much again.
