Ok i have a 98 eagle talon 5 spd with the 420A motor andsome bolt on parts. i was wondering if i put a 75 dry shot of nitrous on it would i need anything internally or would it be safe? Cause i heard a dry shot is safer then a wet shot info much appreciated thanks

Well first off, in my opinion a dry shot wouldn't do YOu any good. A wet shot is much more efficient when it comes to mixing the fuel/nitrous mix.

2nd, have you seen a dry shot forsale for our 420a's???? Might want to reconsider.

3rd, I wouldn't start out with a 75shot, try easying the motor in with a 55shot, then move up to 75. I do believe a timing adjustment is required for a 75shot, but no addtional fuel is needed just yet. (but please correct me if I'm wrong). I bigger fuel pump is recomended though.

I'd PM GSgoingfast as he used to run a wet kit on his ride, and had it for a while before going turbo.

of course i would get the dry shot custom from my uncles friend who does all his work on his rx-7. i know different engines but he knows what he is doing but thank you for the help i will probably go with the 55 wet ten up to 75 in a little bit thanks :thumb:

Just get a wet kit, its only slightly more money, and will keep you from going lean especially on a larger shot. I ran a 75 shot on stock internals for almost a year with zero problems....however thats my ride and not yours. Every vehicle is diferent, so be sure you trust and know your motor before going down the road of the bottle. Higher mileage vehicles will be more prone (again, not always, every motor is different) to failure as the internals have that much more wear on them than another motor.

Stock internals, do NOT go above a 75 shot. Youll melt crap really fast. Even then, you would need fuel pump, possibly injectors (if its a REALLY big shot) etc etc.
