passing NHRA tech?

I have finished my nitrous install and i want to pass tech at the track with
it...
Its a NOS brand kit with a -8an safety blow off at 3000psi that routes out
of the car with a -8an SS line.
The problem is that the bottle was painted white and i can barely see
the DOT stamping. I have heard they need a DOT stamping. It's obvious it
has it because i can see the stamping in the bottle but its not really
visible... Whill it pass tech? Thanks

Take it to the track and ask. I dont think anyone here is a nhra tech and from my experience, it really depends on what kind of day the tech has had as to whether he will pass it or not.

do you have a different bottle?? if you dont, get another one "spare" then pass tech with the "spare" and replace it with the white one....
