Ok this is an answer to the estimated 10 or so PM's im getting A DAY asking about my mainline EFI kit. Im going to answer all the questions in this thread so future people will have it available as a reference, this IS NOT an endorsement of any site or company, im not advertising for anybody or anything like that. Im just answering all the common questions i keep getting innudated with. Also....please no group buy requests i dont want this getting deleted by the mods....
The Nitrous Express EFI WET Mainline kit is proably the simplest and least expensive kit you can buy. For those of us low on money its a very good investment. Yes it works on turbo and non-turbo applications, on any fuel injected car in the world really. It comes with....
yep, 10 lb bottle, all neccessary lines fittings and hoses and whatnot needed to do the install and directions. Now be aware, this kit is inexpensive for a reason. it does NOT contain some very minor items, left out to keep costs down. They are: Bolts to mount the bottle, soloinid brackets, or any type of computer system. Yep, its just a simple old fashioned push button to go fast system. Also the soloinids are limited to a 75 shot max. The included jets actually can vary a bit from where you buy em, but there usually 35, 50, and 75. Sometimes though there 50 60 and 70......
This shouldnt be important to most people who would be interested in buying this kit anyways, since lets be realistic here...if youre going this route on nitrous it means you also proably cant afford to rebuild your motor, so please just keep it at a 75 shot max on stock internals. Be aware that the kit is upgradable though....want more power? Swap out the soloinids later. Want a WOT controller? Swap one it. All parts can be bought individually. Its a good kit because it lets one custom tailor it after they get to know what they like or dont like, withouh having to shell out alot of cash beforehand.
Also yes, this is a WET kit, it t-'s into your fuel system underhood very simply and is the safest kit. Similar dry kits can be just as expensive it not moreso, and alot more dangerous.
Ok now the part you all want.....how much is it and where do i get it? Prices vary alot from site to site, average price is $300-$400. I got mine for less than $350 and its the best thing ive ever done. Search google a bit, but for now ill post a few sites ive found that have it cheap right now.
