I feel the need for more speed, so I decided to go the NOS way...I'm new to NOS, and I need a few questions to be answered...I bought this NOS kit for dirt cheap, so I'm settling with the dry instead of the wet....

Question 1:
I have recently bought a NOS Kit (75-shot "DRY" set-up) from a friend of mine who drives a Prelude(H22 Engine)...Would the kit fit on my 1997 Eclipse GSX?...or would I have to buy other stuff to make it work on my car?

Question 2:
Is it possible to spray it through the FMIC instead of tapping it next to the intake throttle body?

Question 3:
Is there any links on how to install NOS kits for 2G Eclipses? I prefer to do my own work, cause you learn more....

Question 4:
Whats the minimun fuel pressure you need to use the dry kit?

Any help would be appreciated.....Thanks...

I will answer your question, but I have to go poop first. I will reply after I poop.

First things first, you are asking for trouble using a dry kit on a turbo car. You are already taxing your fuel system via higher pressure from boost, so now you'd be introducing a dry nitrous kit which will skyrocket fuel pressure. Bad idea. Another problem is your stock 7 bolt motor. Those tiny pencil thin rods are only going to handle so much power. Introduce nitrous now, and I almost 100% guarentee you a broken rod. Another problem is you are using an AFC to tune. I know it looks cool and goes with your whole rice theme, but it limits you greatly as far as tunability. Let me ask another question. Why do you want to use nitrous? How much power are you making on the Green? You should be making over 400 to the wheels with a proper setup. If you aren't making that kind of power yet, then I think you should look to your current setup and see where you can improve before trying to add nitrous. That's like someone who is running high 14's on a full 16g setup, and just keeps upgrading the turbo to band-aid an existing problem. What kind of power/times is your car running now?

Regards,

As of right now, it's running 12.2@116 on 18" tires and that's without CAMS...I could probably hit 12-flat with some smaller rims, but, my theme is "ALL SHOW, ALL GO", so I will have to deal with the 18" rims....I'm looking to hit low-mid 11's on 18" rims...Hard to do, but, nitrous will get me there faster...:D

The problem is your motor is not going to handle the cylinder pressure from that large turbo, and nitrous. I highly suggest for you to look into upgrading your internals; if NOTHING else, go with a 1G big rod and your stock pistons combo, and start off small with a 50 shot wet and work your way up from there.
