I just installed a ZEX dry nitrous kit and was wondering what i need to do, my mods are: Walbro 255 high pressure, 3" cat-back, 3" Intake, Adjustable fpr, 2.5" UICP, 3" GM blow thru maf, Maft, pocketlogger, boost and a/f gauge. My question is, i usually run 15 psi, is it ok to leave it at 15 psi and run a 55 shot without retarding the timing? or do i need to lower boost? or is their anything else i need to do? please help, sorry for the new-b nitrous question

Sounds like you are off to a good start. Run a set of BPR7's gapped to .028. You should be able to leave your boost at 15 with stock timing. Make a third gear pass on the highway with a friend reading timing and knock. If the car knocks more than a few counts I would pull timing or try using a higher octane. Timing advance should be 18-20. It would also be wise to make a nitrous pass in 3rd gear and then pull the plugs and examine them. There is alot you can learn about how your motor is running by the condition of the plug (do a google search and you should be able to find pics so you know what you are looking for). Look into more exhaust mods next. Definately a 3'' downpipe and testpipe and then get a tubular 02housing and ported 2gmani.

Noslaser had alot of success with dry kits on the 4G63. You can attempt to contact him or search this site and dsmtalk for his words of wisdom. And don't forget to keep us updated!

i would run some 110 and you should be fine, but you should also spend the extra moeny to get a fuel sylinoid and go wet alot better:) and your boost will be fine, cuz when you squeeze it goes to about 17 or 18 if you have it set at 15 at least on a wet kit but a dry kit maybe different.

yeah, you definitely dont want iridium or platinum, get the BKR7E-11 its the same as the BKR7E, just the V series with V-Power to prevent squelching
