i have a 92 laser w/ cat-back exh, gutted cat,mitsu metal head gasket, b&m afpr set at about 50psi, and a k&n running at 12 psi, i have been running an NOS wet 50hp shot and was wondering if it would be safe(for the motor) if i were to jet up to a 75 shot ?

I would suggest before going up with the nitrous, get yourself a ported 95 exhaust manifold and a 3 inch O2 eliminator downpipe. With nitrous, you are creating such a large exhaust pulse, and you need to evacuate that exhaust gas as quickly as possible; if you don't, the end result is high EGT's and potentially burnt exhaust valves, burned up turbo seals, etc. I think you will notice a VERY big gain on the nitrous with the addition of the above two parts alone. Replace the gutted cat with a 3 inch test pipe as well because you don't want any restrictions in exhaust flow. I know jetting up is free, and you have to lay out money to get the manifold and downpipe, but it is well worth it. I would also suggest since you are on the stock turbo, to get a 7 cm^2 turbine housing, and have it ported as well while you are changing the manifold. Every little bit that you can improve exhaust flow on a nitrous car is going to give you big gains. Good luck, and let me know if you need any more advice.
