I need help....again.

Hey, so story goes as this. i was driving one day rpm's slammed to zero and the car hasn't started since then. i brought it to my mechanic and he was like "dude it's crankwalk".(the endplay on the crank is .0008 out of spec so i didn't think it was CW) the car sat for like a month, i decided that my mechanic was trying to take me for a very expensive ride.(thanks to the help of people on this forum) i got the car towed home and decided that i was gonna do this all myself. i just wanted to replace the CPS and see what happened. i started the work and got to the crank pulley and couldn't get it off without air tools. so i got it towed to my friends house with air tools i got everything off and pulled the lower timing belt off and saw peices of belt and microchip in it. i looked and saw that the BS belt shredded and somehow flew into the CPS between the sensor and crushed it ... so i got a BS belt and CPS and im just gonna replace all the belts. but i noticed there are timing marks on the BS itself. i've searched and can't find where they are supposed to line up. any help with that?

Sounds like the balance shaft belt broke and took out the crank sensor. For some reason though, i don't believe that you searched very hard to find the timing marks on these engines. Let me google that for you

If that balance belt did anything to the timing belt it's not just a simple remove and replace. Check the timing belt marks also. If they're good replace the belt. If not you need to check the valves. You need to know if you caused any head damage.

Please try again with a more descriptive thread title. A generic thread title like this does not help me when browsing new threads to see if I can offer help or when searching old threads for info to help myself or others.
