I have a dsmlinkv3 and a gm mass air , should I go ahead and order another intake or keep the 4" injen look alike with the oem mass air connected to it???

I have a injen look alike intake its 4" . should I order a 4 " intake that does away with my oem mas air ?

Not sure what you are asking. If you are asking if you can run with out a MAS the answer is NO (unless you are running Speed Density with DMSLINK or other tunning software)! If you are asking weather to hack the MAS I recommend leave it alone so you don't screw it up.

Edit: Did this post change? If so what I have said means nothing.

Edit2: To answer the NEW question about running the stock mas with the gm mas do not do it you will only be impeading flow. either get a new pipe or find a filter that will fit/flex to the pipe.

An intake with a hacked mass air or one with out or does it even matter??

+1 what he said...You can hack your intake pipe, but unless you have tuning software..Probly NO member of tuners is going to reccomend it..That's just asking for something to go wrong..

its not connected i just like the way it looks makes the car look more sleeper like. i just didnt know if i could get better spool or more power if i didnt have it on and just had an intake with filter
