Hey guys..
Well the problem im having is that.. i am pumping white smoke out the back of my exhaust at idle..when im driving..all the time.. It looks like a steam train. Anyways i ve done my research and decided that it was my turbo. I dropped the turbo from the manifold and started the car. NO SMOKE. NONE AT ALL. Put the turbo back on and started it... and the white smoke comes back. Ok. I tried two turbo...ran the car for an hour and both continued to make the car smoke. Now i was talking to this guy at a shop and he told me i can disconnect my oil feed that runs from my head to the turbo. He said if i plug the hole in my head with a bolt or something... i can drive the car perfectly without any problems until i can afford a new a new 16g turbo.

---What do you guys think about this?..Can i run the car with no oil feed without any problems?..Will the turbo still boost?(i hope not)..Or is this guy high or something?..

-i need my car for work. So if anyone has any suggestions on what i can do to drive my car without a cloud of smoke behind me...Please i would like to hear it.

You need the oil line, you do NOT need the coolant line. Don't mix that up, otherwise any new turbo will soon be smoking like yours is now. Is it the stock t25? If so, you can get a 14b turbo for about 100 bux. Boost better, last longer, is stronger, and more fun. Just need to fab the coolant lines up. Now if you are trying to remove the oil line... you will need a particular set of tools. Plenty of threads on removal and full turbo swaps. Search harder.

Well the first turbo i had on there was a 14b turbo...Then a put a used 14b on there... both made the car smoke..Then i bought a used T-25 for 150..Thats on the car rite now and its still smoking. Do you think it can be oil in the exhaust from the first turbo thats just smoking out and the other two turbos that i put on there is actually good?... Is there anyway i can drive the car without the white smoke out the back..withiut replacing the turbo rite now?...

DO NOT run your engine without the oil feed line connected to the turbo. That guy is an IDIOT.

Are you sure its WHITE smoke and not blue? White means the car is burning coolant, blue means its burning oil and would be more believeable if its comming from your turbo. But you say you have tried 3 differnet turbos, doesnt seem like thats the problem to me. Is there any oil inside the intake pipe/compressor inlet?

There really is no way to drive your car without the turbo either, sorry man.

Ah..dont worry about it bro. I just dont wanna damage or hurt my car...because of some fool at a shop...Anyways im pretty sure it white smoke...i had a couple people tell me its white smoke... Its really thick and cloudy..There wasnt that much oil in the piping...i mean not more than normal...

Did you check your replacement turbos for shaft play? I've had an incident where I replaced a blown T-25 for another blown T-25 because I took a friends word on the condition.

No i didnt check the turbos for any kinda shaft play...i figured if it was smoking... the turbo was bad..

For all the money you spent, you could of had your 14b rebuilt for about $150 or so from Justin on these forums. He does SUPERB work. If it's the turbo, he can fix it.

###!!!..See i knew signing up on the forums was a good idea...LOL... So what you guys think i should do?...Let the car run and hope that its just oil in my exhaust... Or check and see if its coolant burning?...or what?

..The reason i dont think its coolant because when i dropped the turbo off the manifold... It doesnt smoke at all...It only smokes when i hook the turbo up...
