JDM Head good deal?

there is a guy who has a JDM head that he says has a 5 angle valve job. i looked it over and saw that it was in good condition. (no cracs or rust) he is willing to get rid of it for 300 bills and i was wondering if it is a good deal or not. im still running the stock engine on mine with stock turbo. just have a HKS and a K&N cone filter on it.
so down to the point. i dont know what a 5 angle valve job really does so i wanted to ask you all if you believe it is a good deal?

6bolt head on a 7 bolt block?

can you put a 6 bolt head on a 7 bolt block? the guy who had it before me had it on his spider and he said it worked fine. he said you just have to plug a few wholes in it.
any help would be awsome thank you
