stock turbo limits

ok, im sure this has been asked before, but i cant seem to find it anywhere, and i am cranky and irratable right now, so here goes...

how much boost is safe to run on my stock internals, stock turbo 97 eclipse gsx. i have intake, exhaust, and blow off cause thats what my car came with when i bought it. i was wondering what i can do if i put a boost controller on it. i dont wanna bust my turbo or anything. also, what is the stock boost for my car?

The stock boost is 14psi. This is pretty much all I can help you with as I don't know much about the T-25 or 2G cars.

With an upgraded fuel pump you can run 16psi of boost on the T25.
Stock boost on ur car is around 10-12 psi. Mine came with 13psi for some reason?

With some other mods you can run mid to high 13's on this turbo (believe it or not I did). Takes some good driving and patience tho.

The T25 is rated at 250cfm @ 15 psi. Beyond that you are wasting your and your intercooler's time. Set the boost at 15psi ( get a boost gauge first ). It will be very difficult to build a worthwhile setup around the T25. It can be done with every other type of modification done though. The 14b would be a good choice as it flows 405cfm @ 15psi. They can usually be had for 100$, while installing them can be as little as 30$ and up to 200$.

If you plan to stay with the T25, get the largest front mount intercooler you can find. The T25 will be blowing increadibly hot air at anything above 15psi.

the stock boost is 12 psi on our cars. with the mods i have (check profile) she is running fine at 16 psi

Just don't hope for a T-25 to do that kind of output for very long.

just my input my car made 14psi with just intake and spiked to 19-20psi without mbc. after that i got a MBC and set it to 15psi and it stays there rock solid until 6000RPM then its starts to fall
